I love the Winter Olympics almost as much as I love baseball (it could even be a tie!) and with two months still until the Blue Jays' home opener I need another big project on my needles.

I will cast on a sweater during the Opening Ceremonies and knit throughout the Games as I watch them. And, I will embroider on one of the little "sports" icons to represent each medal Team Canada wins!

I will be doing this as I go so I don't have a pattern, but I have put the Maple Leaf chart below if you'd like to use on your own projects. I have also made a "Go Canada Toque" pattern on my Ravelry store if you'd like to knit along :)

My Team Canada Winter Olympics which I will knit while watching the 2026 Games. I'll be stitching on a little sport icon to represent each medal.
